The Society holds an Limited Agility Test each year in conjunction with the Breed Open Show. We run six classes, four for standard dogs and two for veteran dogs (over 9 years old). The classes we run are Special Open Agility, Special Open Watson and Holmes Agility Stakes, Special Open Jumping, Special Open Veteran Jumping, Special Open Helter Skelter and Special Open Veteran Helter Skelter.
Jump height is 65cm in classes 1, 2, 3 and 5 and 45cm in classes 4 and 6.
Veteran classes 4 and 6 are for Golden Retrievers aged 9 years and over and who are not entered in any other classes at the Agility Test.
The level is grade 1/2 and we aim to give out lots of clear round rosettes. It's a fun show with a great atmosphere, with all the competitors cheering each other on. Why not come and have a go. Dogs need to have basic agility training over all the obstacles.
